赵大咪生于东北小城，奋斗在北京，日子过得不温不火。在与初恋男友结婚前夕，大咪发现男友出轨，美好愿景瞬间崩塌。赵大咪与客户李程成为合租伙伴。李程生于浙江富庶之家，但致力于在北京自己奋斗，却遭遇女友逼婚，一心想要率性而活的他唯有痛苦分手。同一屋檐下，性格迥异的两人水火不容，大争小战随处上演。刀光剑影之后，同受情伤的两人终以好友相称。然而大咪却不知李程已对她动心，反倒被李程好友高伦硕猛烈的爱情攻势击溃。但后来发现高伦硕竟然是个有家室的隐婚男！赵大咪的爱情再次受挫。眼看赵大咪痛不欲生，李程终于鼓起勇气将赵大咪拉到了自己身边，惺惺相惜的两人终于走到一起。李程的前女友不合时宜地重新出现，逼得赵大咪和李程还未牵手就已分开。前女友看出李程心中只有赵大咪，不再纠缠，李程终于重回赵大咪身边。
